Slim aluminium body, weighs about 14 grams with a pod inserted, and small enough to sit in your palm without anyone noticing. Comes with the device and a USB magnetic charging dock. Pods aren't included; pick those up separately from our JUUL Pods collection.
There's genuinely nothing to figure out. Charge the device on its magnetic dock, remove the cap, click in a pre-filled pod, and inhale. The draw itself triggers the device, so there's no button to press and no setting to adjust before your first puff. When a pod runs dry, you pull it out and click in a new one. That's the whole cycle, every time.
A double tap on the body shows you the battery level through the LED: green for good, yellow for getting low, red for charge it now. A full charge from empty takes about an hour on the included dock.

The honest answer is nicotine strength. Original JUULpods go up to 50mg, while every JUUL 2 pod is fixed at 18mg. If you're a heavy smoker and you've found lighter vapes don't really satisfy you, the original device paired with a 50mg pod is closer to what a cigarette actually delivers. The smaller pod and higher strength together are also why the original produces so little visible vapour despite hitting hard, which a lot of ex-smokers actually prefer over the bigger clouds newer devices tend to push.
Battery life is the real tradeoff. The original's 200mAh battery often doesn't last a full day for frequent vapers, and it needs recharging more than the newer JUUL 2 device, which carries a larger battery built for longer stretches between charges. If all-day battery matters more to you than maximum strength, JUUL 2 is worth a look instead. If strength and the smallest possible device matter more, the original wins.
